Description
The Sound Celebration Chorus is in high gear this summer preparing for their upcoming show on September 29th at 2 pm at the Hoogland Center for the Arts on the LRS stage. The Chorus' Annual Show will feature recent radio hits from some of your favorite artists. "Harmony on the Air" will "broadcast" your best-loved hits sung a cappella style. Be a part of an interactive studio audience for the Lida Rose Hour for a fun-filled time as Lida Rose receives calls from radio listeners asking for advice and requesting dedications. Well-known area actor and radio DJ, Don Schneider, will be guest star as the show's announcer. Some of the songs featured “on the air” will be Toto’s “Africa” and Billy Joel’s “Lullaby”. The featured guest quartet, South of Normal, are Illinois District Champions and are guaranteed to tickle your funny bone too. This matinee time is perfect for an afternoon of great music.
