DESCRIPTION:Support groups create a safe\, confidential\, supportive environment or community and a chance for participants to develop informal mutual support and social relationships. They also educate and inform participants about dementia and help participants develop methods and skills to solve problems.\n\n\n\nThis in-person dementia caregiver support group meets in person on the first Tuesday of each month from 1 pm to 2 pm.  Registration is strongly encouraged\; call AgeLinc (Area Agency on Aging for Lincolnland) at 217.787.9234 or the Alzheimer's Association 24/7 Helpline at 1.800.272.3900 to register.\n\n\n\nIf you need immediate information about memory loss\, caregiving or local resources\, please call the Alzheimer's Association's toll-free 24/7 Helpline at 1.800.272.3900.
