DESCRIPTION:Join the Chamber's young professionals networking group\, RISE Springfield\, at the June 26 RISE & Shine! The event will be held in the BUNN Customer Experience Center where visitors can have hands-on engagement with BUNN's newest state-of-the art equipment. \n\n\n\nIn addition to awesome networking\, coffee\, and breakfast items from BUNN\, we'll learn more about the Young Philanthropists\, an initiative of the Community Foundation for the Land of Lincoln.\n\n\n\nLaunched in 2006\, Young Philanthropists invigorates community leaders to join together to be philanthropists and learn more about themselves as donors.  By pooling and leveraging resources\, Young Philanthropists creates greater community impact by growing the Future Fund   a permanent endowment fund at the Community Foundation that has awarded $161\,500 to local programs that help children and youth. Grant awards are determined through a competitive process with members serving on the Young Philanthropists grant committee.\n\n\n\nTom Bazan\, Chair of the Young Philanthropists Steering Committee\, and Sarah Tapscott\, Vice President of Development for the Community Foundation\, will present more information about the program.\n\n\n\nBUNN will also be giving a $25 gift card to Pease's at BUNN Gourmet as a door prize!
