Host participants become immersed in both community and family life. Providers can receive extra income ranging from $25,000 to $65,000, but the impact is more than that - Providers also have the unique opportunity of playing a role in someone's growth and independence.
Your contract offers referral bonuses, free DSP online certification, 20 hours monthly relief, 14 vacation days a year, and 24 hour support.
Host Home Providers help the people they support find a home to encourage independence in a family environment. EP!C looks for Providers that are passionate about making a difference in the life of a person with disabilities from within their home that prefer a flexible schedule.
Host Home Provider responsibilities include but are not limited to transportation, family meals, documentation on what the individual’s likes, dislikes, wants, dreams and goals are in mind, administering medication, coordinating doctors visits, and attending bimonthly provider meetings, as well as, following the individual’s Personal Plan
Host Home providers must have extra bedroom space for the individual to occupy and pass State inspection standards.
EP!C provides all necessary training to potential providers who pass a Health Care Workers Background check, can perform CPR/FA, can lift up to fifty pounds, have a high school diploma/GED, and have a valid Illinois driver’s license.
