The Community Foundation for the Land of Lincoln is now accepting applications for the Junior League of Springfield Capacity Building Grant Program from nonprofits located in three central Illinois counties: Sangamon, Christian and/or Montgomery.
Capacity-building grants are for attendance by nonprofit staff and board members at trainings and professional development programs of their own choosing. These grants are strategic investments in people and organizations to be used to defray the cost of attending programs targeted at improving the management, governance and leadership of the applicant organization.
Nonprofits must apply through the Community Foundation’s website, www.CFLL.org. The submission deadline is May 14, 2021.
The maximum grant amount is $1,500, and the organization pays no less than 20% of the total cost. In addition, grants will only support future opportunities, not trainings or professional development that have already occurred. Each organization may apply for one grant.
Charities may also sign up at www.CFLL.org to receive email alerts when new grant funds from the Community Foundation are available.
