Springfield, IL – November 25, 2024 – Green View is pleased to announce
the promotion of
Candi Scheuermann to the position of Director of Retail Operations.
Candi brings over 25 years of expertise in purchasing, retail management, development,
and team building. A dedicated industry professional, her experience spans in-ground tree
production, perennial nursery operations, and ornamental horticulture.
In her new role, Candi oversees Green View’s retail garden centers, ensuring that Green
View's core values of fostering exceptional customer experiences, maintaining operational
excellence, and driving innovative solutions to meet evolving market demands are upheld.
With Candi’s promotion, Green View endeavors to remain a trusted resource for both
customers and industry professionals, delivering consistent value and service across all
locations, working closely with industry partners to maintain product quality and
availability that align with seasonal trends and customer expectations.
Candi has served on the Lincoln Land Community College Horticulture Curriculum
Committee for 20 years and mentors through the Illinois Landscape Contractors
Association’s Women’s Networking Group.
Along with her husband, Candi is also an avid home gardener, enjoys canning, and making
a home for their rescue pets, including their donkeys, Dill & Pickles. They also cherish
spending time with their adult children.
