New Members

SPRINGFIELD – Memorial Medical Center Foundation’s second annual raffle will offer up to $75,000 for the grand prizewinner and raise money to assist hospice patients, transplant recipients and others who have faced challenges.

Ticket sales for the 75 Grand Raffle went on sale Feb. 3. Tickets cost $100 each. They can be purchased online at or by visiting the foundation office at 1000 Churchill Road in Springfield or calling 217-788-4700.

The grand-prize drawing will be held at noon Friday, March 13, and can be viewed live on the Memorial Medical Center Foundation’s Facebook page. Early-bird drawings will be held at noon on five consecutive Fridays, beginning Feb. 7. Those prizes will range from $250 to $1,000. Early-bird entrants and winners will remain eligible for the grand-prize drawing.

Proceeds from the raffle go to five funds: the Breast Cancer Patient Assistance Fund, the Cancer Patient Assistance Fund, the Sexual Assault Survivor Fund, the Transplant Patient Assistance Fund and the Sharing Wishes Fund, which helps fulfill the wishes of hospice patients in central Illinois.

The raffle will offer 25 prizes totaling $94,500, which includes $75,000 for the grand prizewinner. Ticket sales will be limited to 2,000. If all 2,000 tickets aren’t sold, the grand prize and all other prizes awarded on March 13 will be adjusted proportionally.
