· Performs monthly reconciliations of various general ledger accounts as well as correspondent Bank accounts and internal demand deposit accounts; ensures transactions are properly coded and posted.
· Completes assigned reports for Board of Directors monthly.
· Assists colleagues to consistently achieve favorable regulatory and external audit results and responses to the same by providing accurate reporting.
· Serves as backup to other department personnel including daily Bank processing and bi-weekly processing of payroll.
· Performs secondary reviews for payroll and other general ledger accounts.
· Maintains detailed, accurate, and timely records relating to Bank operations.
· Complies with applicable regulations as well as to the appropriate accounting standards.

Possesses excellent organizational and analytical skills, ability to be an independent thinker and problem solver; ability to communicate respectfully with internal and external customers and vendors; ability to multitask and keystroke at a moderate to high rate of speed; possesses a high level of attention to detail.
Education, Experience, and Skills
Required: Bachelors degree in Accounting preferred, but will consider a combination of experience/accounting courses.
Financial Institution experience is a plus.
Physical Requirements
Sufficient stamina to sit and read a computer screen for extended periods of time. Ability to perform repetitive motion with wrists, hands, and/or fingers and otherwise perform the essential functions of the position. While performing these duties, the employee is regularly required to speak and hear. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
