Description
The Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, commonly referred to as Tax Reform, was recently signed into law affecting all taxpayers.
The Chamber is partnering with Premier Sponsor Kerber, Eck & Braeckel to offer a tax reform seminar that reviews the many changes in the TCJA that will affect small and medium-size businesses and their owners.
Danielle Hunt, CPA and Partner with KEB, will provide attendees with information about the major provisions affecting their business so that they can plan for the future, with special emphasis on:
- Reduced Tax Rates
- Qualified Business Income Deduction
- Enhanced Depreciation Rules
- Modification and Simplification of deductions
Caroline Harris, Vice President, Tax Policy & Economic Development, and Chief Tax Policy Counsel for the U.S. Chamber of Commerce will also discuss why tax reform was needed and what’s next in the legislative landscape as it relates to tax reform.
Reform is just another word for opportunity. Learn how these regulations will affect you and how you can take advantage of these changes to maximize your tax benefits under the new law.
