CWLP WATER CREWS RESPONDING TO 24-INCH WATER MAIN BREAK

CWLP water crews are beginning emergency repairs to broken water transmission main in the 3100 block of South Fourth Street. Due to the scope of repairs, customers will be without water service during work, which will impact about 80 customers including the 2600 to 3100 blocks of S. Fourth Street from E. Farley Street to E. Cordelia Street and the shopping center with the former County Market grocery store in the 2700 block of S. Sixth Street. Work is planned to begin around 12:30 p.m. and is expected to last several hours due to the size of the main at 24 inches and the location of the break.
