Labor Force Snapshot: Older People in the U.S. Labor Force
For decades, the U.S. has been undergoing a demographic transition that is fundamentally transforming America’s workforce. People ages 65 and older are now one of the most rapidly growing groups in the U.S. labor force, partly because this age group is growing quickly, but also because its member are increasingly choosing to extend their working lives. As such, understanding this population and its evolution over time has never been more important to organizations seeking to attract and retain talent.
