Description
Super Saturdays at the Museum: We ? Super Saturday Psst... We?ve been taking note of your favorite fun activities and are planning a very special celebration of Super Saturday at the Illinois State Museum! Play with toys from the past and make a spinner toy to take home; learn about printmaking by creating a print that you design; grind corn with a mano and metate as the American Indians did; and test your knowledge of the Changes exhibition with an interactive trivia game. Also, enjoy crafts and activities that highlight each of the Museum?s exhibitions. You won?t want to miss this all-encompassing Super Saturday celebration! Super Saturdays at the Illinois State Museum are designed for children 3-8 years old and are free and open to the public. Most activities can be completed in 30 to 45 minutes, although participants may stay as long as they wish. Parents are invited to participate with their children. For more information, call the Education Section at (217) 782-5993. The Super Saturday series is sponsored by Bank of Springfield.
