Description
The Springfield Public Schools Foundation welcomes you to join us for a conversation over coffee with Superintendent Jennifer Gill on Wednesday, September 22, 2021, at 7:30 a.m. Superintendent Gill will discuss moving District 186 beyond the COVID epidemic, focusing on student learning, and ongoing facilities improvements.
Join us in person at the INB Conference Center at 4th & Jackson Streets*, downtown, or virtually through a live stream at www.youtube.com/user/spschannel22. If attending in person, please RSVP here.
Donations are welcomed and appreciated at any level. All monies raised will fund requests that enhance classroom learning for students across District 186 through the funding of the Foundation's "Cornerstone Grants" or support extracurricular activities for students through the "Extracurricular Grants".
Cornerstone Grants, with a $1,500 maximum award, celebrate the return of our teachers and their students to the classroom. The grants encourage proposals that are creative, innovative, and address an important need identified by teachers and/or staff, focusing on one or more of the following:
- Enhance Classroom Learning
- Academic Enrichment
- Social & Emotional Learning
- Family & Community Engagement
Extracurricular Grants, with a maximum $500 award, provide a supplement to middle and high school IESA/IHSA recognized sports and activities.
