A well-established Springfield organization is seeking an Accounting Assistant to provide essential support to its accounting and administrative functions. This position is ideal for candidates with experience in accounts payable, bookkeeping, or office administration who value accuracy and consistency in their work.

- Maintain organized and accurate financial records
- Support monthly reconciliations and financial reporting activities
- Prepare invoices, statements, and related documentation

- Assist with answering and directing phone calls
- Prior experience in accounting, bookkeeping, AP, payroll support, or administrative roles
- Strong attention to detail and organizational ability
- Proficiency with Excel and familiarity with accounting software preferred
- Effective communication skills and a collaborative work style
- Ability to adapt and learn in a fast-paced office environment
