Automotive Technician (A/B Level)

Monkee Wrench Automotive is a locally owned, independent repair shop in Springfield, IL. We’re building a solid, drama-free team that takes pride in quality work, honesty with customers, and doing things the right way.

We’re currently looking for an A or B Level Automotive Technician to join our growing shop.

What You’ll Do

• Diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicles (domestic & import)

• Perform inspections, maintenance, and repair work efficiently and accurately

• Communicate clearly with service advisors on recommended repairs

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

• Take ownership of your work and stand behind it

What We’re Looking For

• A/B level technician experience

• Strong diagnostic skills (especially for A-level)

• Own tools required

• ASE certifications preferred (not required)

• Reliable, accountable, and team-oriented

• Someone who wants stability and growth—not shop hopping
