Job Description Summary

Lincoln Land Community College is seeking a collaborative and strategic leader to advance the College's commitment to student success and wellbeing. This role provides strategic leadership in developing programs, services, and initiatives that support students both inside and outside the classroom. The successful candidate will work across campus to strengthen student engagement, promote a safe and inclusive learning environment, and ensure students have the resources and support needed to achieve their academic and personal goals.

 

As a staff member at LLCC, you can look forward to 23 paid holidays a year, including 2 weeks at the end of the calendar year and one week in March for mid-semester break; 12 Fridays off in the summer; and 2 personal days, 15 sick days, and 20 vacation days per year. LLCC staff, their spouse and qualified dependent children are eligible to use the tuition waiver on credited courses. Staff can also enjoy free access to our on-campus fitness center. Starting salary is likely to be between $94,069 and $129,164 per year with an excellent benefits package. The person hired into this position will be placed within this range based on education, training, experience, and skills.

Required Qualifications

 

• Master's degree in education, public administration, organizational leadership or related field. Extensive, relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of an advanced degree.

• A minimum of five years of supervisory/administrative experience.

• Ability to work independently and use professional judgment.

• The ability to work with diverse populations and varying educational levels.

• The ability to research information for problem solving.

• Detail oriented; excellent oral and written communication skills; and strong analytical skills.

• Ability to collaborate with appropriate stakeholders, solve complex problems, and apply student development theory to student success initiatives.

• Ability to work with and maintain confidential files and information.

 

Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a criminal background check.

 

Preferred Qualifications

 

• Supervisory experience in a combination in at least two of the areas: advising, student conduct management, compliance & prevention management, student life, student health and wellbeing or accessibility services.

• Knowledge of Title IX regulations.

• Community college experience.

• Experience in managing technologies.

 

Physical Requirements

 

Position Salary: Starting salary is likely to be between $94,069 and $129,164 per year with an excellent benefits package.
