Springfield — May 20, 2025 — As the Memorial Health Championship presented by LRS marks its 10th anniversary, the tournament is excited to bring back a fan-favorite youth event: GAMEDAY, presented by CEFCU. This special event will take place on Tuesday, June 24th, during tournament week. Aimed at juniors ages 8–18, GAMEDAY returns for its seventh year, made possible by the continued support of local sponsor CEFCU. The program is free of charge, but participants must register in advance and is limited to 50 kids.

GAMEDAY is a program of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) Golf division, designed to inspire young golfers through meaningful, hands-on experiences at PGA, LPGA, and Korn Ferry Tour events.

“We are excited to see GAMEDAY return this year. It has been incredible to witness its growth and the positive impact it has had on local youth,” said Kate Peters, Executive Director of the Memorial Health Championship. “Thanks to our partnership with CEFCU, we are able to continue offering this impactful experience and help nurture a passion for the game.”

GAMEDAY 2025 will take place from 3:00 P.M. to 5:30 P.M. on Tuesday, June 24th, providing juniors and their parents or guardians with a rare inside-the-ropes experience during a Korn Ferry Tour practice round. Participants will walk 9 holes with professional golfers, observe their preparation, and have the chance for one-on-one conversations. After the round, juniors will engage in a Q&A session about life values, followed by autographs and photo opportunities.

“Golf offers kids not only the chance to improve their physical coordination, but also to build confidence and character,” said Janá Stevens, Senior Vice President of Marketing & Strategic Communications at CEFCU. “We are proud to support this event and bring it to the youth in our community at no cost.”

“The goal of GAMEDAY is to spark conversations about what truly matters—integrity, perseverance, faith, and goal setting,” said Jim Esary, FCA Golf Staff. “We’re excited to continue making this special event a staple in Springfield during tournament week.”

Spots are limited, and advanced registration is required. Parents or guardians can sign up for their children by visiting www.fcagolf.org/gameday. For more information, contact the tournament office at 217.670.2910 or visit MemorialHealthChampionship.com
