CITY OF SPRINGFIELD AND EVANS RECYCLING OFFER FREE SPRING YARD WASTE DROP-OFF FOR RESIDENTS

Springfield, IL—In collaboration with Evans Recycling, the City of Springfield’s Office of Public Works announces the annual free drop-off weeks for the spring season. City of Springfield residents can drop off their yard waste bags at Evans Recycling, 2100 J David Jones Parkway, with a photo ID from April 7, 2025, to

May 3, 2025. The hours for Evans Recycling are as follows:

Monday to Friday – 7 am to 5 pm

Saturday – 7 am to 12 pm
