SPRINGFIELD – Cheyenne Cleesen, operating room comm/data support specialist, is the Springfield Memorial Hospital Colleague of the Month for August.
Her team appreciates Cleesen’s communication style. Not only is she a good listener, but she also relays workplace policy and protocol updates to team members throughout the department. She is conscientious about gathering all the information needed to schedule procedures so that the OR team has what they need and what the surgeon needs.
“Cheyenne holds herself to the highest standards,” wrote her nominator. “She treats everyone with the same level of consideration and respect and is always professional even when the job gets challenging. She offers to help no matter how tedious the task, and she’s always seeking ways to improve our work process.”
Cleesen has worked for Springfield Memorial Hospital since 2023.
