This week the agency has taken part in multiple events and recognized their service team for National Customer Service Week! Nearly four years into the launch of the Damon Priddy State Farm Agency, our team is "rebranding" the customer service team and the way we "do service".
"I came from a background in hospitality, managing multiple hotels and major brands along the way. Taking care of people is engrained in who I am. That hospitality training and care for detail doesn't go away. Launching the agency in 2021 was certainly an undertaking and we've learned so much along the way. Now is the time to review, tweak and make some adjustments!" said Damon, owner of Damon Priddy Insurance & Financial Services - a State Farm Agency.
A duo of two representatives, Ashley and Curt, make up the servicing side of the agency, handling the day-to-day for current clients, such as all of the behind-the-scenes task-based work, the hundreds of texts and phone calls the agency receives daily, policy changes, watching over claims to keep them moving, the onboarding of new households and all of the "little things" in between. The agency also has four producers & risk advisors working to grow the agency, having in-depth conversations with people about their coverage, their future, their assets and the importance of protecting that and working with small business owners on commercial coverage.
Back on the servicing side, Ashley & Curt are very intentional in all they do, working to go the extra mile to create an experience for clients. That begins with a one-on-one onboarding appointment with Ashley and this experience moves with the client through their relationship with the agency, some agency clients being with State Farm for over six decades and others being multi-generational families. That experience can be simple phone calls, the way that Ashley & Curt work with clients, meeting virtually to still have a face-to-face connection but meeting clients where they are and even in-person with the many appointments held daily. That begins with how clients are greeted, the coffee and beverages offered, the look, feel and smell of the office... it is all intentionally and meticulously managed.
Moving forward, the agency will no longer have "Customer Service" or "Customer Care". "We're focused on the experience of our clients and how we can provide "the cherry on top" of what we do and the interactions we’re a part of. Job titles and responsibilities should reflect this" said Priddy. Ashley Barnes will lead the duo as the Senior Client Experience Specialist and Curt will move to a Client Experience Specialist. "What may seem to be a small tweak like this is a mindset shift and is what makes us different from large carriers with strangers in a cubicle five states away. It is our responsibility to know our clients, know their family, their situation and what we're protecting for them. We take that responsibility very seriously... but we also take pride in placing that cherry on top of what we do!" said Damon.
