Engel becomes licensed professional engineer

SPRINGFIELD, Ill. — Hannah Engel, P.E., an aviation civil engineer at Hanson Professional Services Inc.’s Springfield headquarters, recently earned her professional engineer license in Illinois.

Engel, who joined Hanson in 2018 as an intern and became a full-time employee in 2020, performs design engineering for aviation projects, including analysis, the preparation of calculations and the preparation and drafting of plans. She received a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Bradley University, is a member of the American Council of Engineering Companies of Illinois’ Emerging Professionals Committee and is secretary/treasurer of the American Society of Civil Engineers’ Central Illinois Section.
