Beginning Thursday, August 28, First Street will be detoured and closed between Elliott and North Grand Avenues for tree removal. Work is expected to begin at 7 a.m. and be completed by 11 a.m.
In the event of inclement weather, work will be rescheduled. Motorists are urged to seek alternate routes and drive with caution in work zones.
