HSHS St. John’s Foundation is excited to invite the community to a special event that blends fun, philanthropy and fantastic company. Join us for our Celebrity Bartender Night on Wednesday, Nov. 12, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Papa Frank’s, located at 4111 Wabash Ave., Springfield.

This unique event promises an entertaining evening featuring St. John’s celebrities, including Brian Brennan, President and CEO of HSHS St. John’s Hospital, along with Foundation Leadership Council members and nurse managers.

Proceeds from the evening will benefit the HSHS Child Life Program, a crucial initiative that provides unique pathways for young patients in HSHS St John’s Children’s Hospital to heal. Child life specialists, who are extensively trained in working with children in traumatic situations, administer age-suitable support that meets the kids where they are. Contributions to the program help provide unique therapeutic programs and support through mobile sensory carts, procedure support and pet therapy, among other services to help reduce a child’s stress and allow recovery to begin.

"Our Celebrity Bartender Night is not only a fun-filled evening but also an important fundraising event that directly impacts the lives of children in our care," said Ali Farmer, Director of HSHS St. John’s Foundation. "We encourage everyone to come out, enjoy the evening and show support for our Child Life Program.”
