City Water, Light and Power is announcing that online and mail-in registration for watercraft registration is now open for the 2026 Lake Springfield boating season. Renewal notices for boats and crafts registered in the 2025 season have been mailed and must be returned by June 30. Applicants can register and pay online or print and fill out the application form on the CWLP website, https://cwlp.com/LakesParksHome/LakesParksInformation/Boating.aspx.
Boat licenses are also available during regular business hours at CWLP Security at 3100 Stevenson Drive, the Lake Springfield Marina (I-55 Exit 88) and The Boat Dock at 3111 Cockrell Lane.
