A broken 6-inch water main at North Peoria Road near Garfield Street necessitates emergency repairs by water crews today to limit damage to the roadway. Currently, the south-bound curb lane of North Peoria Road will be closed to accommodate CWLP Water Department repairs. This lane will remain closed until road surface repairs are complete.
Motorists should plan to take alternative routes to avoid delays and should slow down and drive with caution around this work zone.
