Mayor Misty Buscher to Announce Community Initiative Funded by the National Opioid Settlement Dollar

Mayor Misty Buscher will hold a press conference alongside city dignitaries and Springfield Police Department, Springfield Fire, Community Relations, and local community partners to announce a new community project funded by the national opioid settlement dollars.

This project reflects the City’s ongoing commitment to using these funds in ways that directly benefit residents by addressing the impacts of opioid and substance abuse, expanding access to mental and behavioral health services, promoting community wellness, and enhancing public safety.  It also underscores the City’s dedication to building trust, supporting recovery efforts, and strengthening neighborhoods across Springfield.
