Springfield, IL — The Memorial Health Championship presented by LRS invites the public to attend a memorable tribute in partnership with Folds of Honor and sponsored by Compliance Solutions. Folds of Honor Friday will take place June 27, 2025, at Panther Creek Country Club.

The public is invited to a special ceremony beginning at approximately 11 AM near the tournament main entry to honor those who have served and sacrificed. All tournament attendees are encouraged to wear red, white and blue for the Friday round and to stay for a closing tribute on the 18th green featuring the playing of “Taps” immediately following the final putt of the day — a solemn salute to those who protect our freedoms.

“We are honored to join forces with Folds of Honor and Compliance Solutions to host this tribute,” said Kate Peters, Tournament Director of the Memorial Health Championship. “This is more than just a golf event — it’s a day to express heartfelt gratitude and unify the community in support of our nation’s heroes.”

Folds of Honor is a nonprofit organization that provides life-changing educational scholarships to the spouses and children of fallen or disabled military members and first responders. The June 27 tribute aims to raise awareness for this vital mission, with attendees encouraged to visit www.foldsofhonor.org to learn more or make a contribution.

Spectators, including active-duty and retired military personnel as well as first responders, are invited to attend this day in their honor — a day designed to inspire reflection, unity, and appreciation.
