New Members
Beginning Wednesday, June 18, one eastbound lane of Monroe Street will be closed between Walnut Street and Lewis Street to accommodate City Water, Light and Power’s installation of a new 10-inch water main for Springfield High School’s building addition project. This project is expected to take multiple days to complete and work will be rescheduled in the event of inclement weather. This lane will reopen once road surface repairs are complete.
Motorists are encouraged to slow down and be aware of workers and equipment in the work zone.
