Moore Named December Colleague of the Month for Springfield Memorial Hospital

SPRINGFIELD – Diane Moore, a unit secretary for the infusion unit, is the Springfield Memorial Hospital Colleague of the Month for December.

Moore has worked for Memorial for 42 years, and her nominator appreciates how she keeps things running smoothly on the unit. Her communication skills stand out with physicians, nurses, pharmacists and patient care coordinators. She looks out for orders, checks for authorizations and keeps patient infusions running on time.

“If Diane tells me she’s going to do something, she always follows through to the end,” wrote her nominator. “She never wants the spotlight, and she always makes sure the patient experience is as good as it can be.”

Moore has worked for Springfield Memorial Hospital since 1981.
