SPRINGFIELD, IL – April 14, 2026 – The Illinois Small Business Development Center for Central Illinois, Innovate Springfield, and Illinois Local today announced a collaborative, free morning event designed to provide area entrepreneurs with actionable strategies for immediate business growth and improved well-being. The Small Business Skill Share is scheduled for Thursday, May 7th, taking place at Innovate Springfield.

Held during National Small Business Week 2026 (May 3–9), this event supports local entrepreneurs and celebrates their impact.

This event is designed for busy entrepreneurs who want actionable advice rather than just another presentation.
