CENTRAL IL BUSINESSES ARE INVITED TO HELP FIGHT HUNGER AT MIDWEST MISSION SEPTEMBER 25 + 26

Midwest Mission is inviting businesses around Central Illinois to participate in their annual Rice and Soy Blessing Bag Pack on September 25 and 26. They are hosting two days of making meals for the food insecure around the world. Their goal is to send 10,000 meals that will feed 60,000 people in crisis. 

Midwest Mission knows that area businesses care deeply about being a helping and caring hand, that’s why they are inviting your team to join their efforts.

By participating in the Blessing Bag Pack, your team will make a big difference in the world, from right here in Central Illinois. 

Why businesses love to participate in sending nutritious food to the hungry:

• They want to promote philanthropy with their employees

• They want to do a team-building activity (you’d be surprised how much you get to know the people around you while you pack!)

• They want to connect to a local nonprofit that is serving people around the corner and around the world

Volunteer shifts are available on Thursday, September 25, and Friday, September 26 from 9-11am and 1-3pm.

Your team can participate by volunteering for a packing line. Each line needs 10 volunteers (4 of which will have a sitting job).
