RISE Springfield to Hold Annual Give & Take Professional Clothing Drive This Month

Springfield, IL – RISE Springfield is holding their annual Give & Take Professional Clothing Drive this month at the Salvation Army Community Center on Friday, August 22 and Saturday, August 23.
 
All Clothing Donations will be accepted on Friday, August 22 from 10:00am – 7:00pm at Salvation Army Community Center. RISE is asking for donations to be clean, gently used, professional clothing items with no holes or stains. Both men’s and women’s clothes will be accepted.
 
On Saturday, August 23 all donated clothing will be available for community members to pick-up from 9:00am – 4:00pm. Bags will be available for attendees to take clothes home in while supplies last. Any donated clothing leftover at the end of the day will be donated to local non-profit organizations.
 
Young professionals in the Springfield area are encouraged to sign up for one of the available volunteer shifts if they are interested in getting involved with this event.
