Beginning Thursday, December 19th, north-bound Ninth Street between Jefferson and Madison Streets will be closed for City Water, Light and Power crews to make repairs to a leaking water main. A detour route will be posted for motorists. Due to the pavement opening necessary to do the work, impacted lanes will remain closed until road surface repairs are completed.
Motorists should plan for alternative routes, always slow down, and be aware of crews and equipment in work zones.
