RISE Springfield is holding its annual Give & Take Professional Clothing Drive on Friday, October 9 and Saturday, October 10, presented by Carrollton Bank.
All clothing donations will be accepted on Friday, October 9 from 10:00am – 6:00pm at Salvation Army Community Center, 1600 E. Clearlake Ave. RISE is asking for donations to be clean, gently used, professional clothing items with no holes or stains. Both men’s and women’s clothes will be accepted.
On Saturday, October 10 all donated clothing will be available for community members to pick-up from 9:00am – 2:00pm at the same location. Bags will be available for attendees to take clothes home in while supplies last. Any donated clothing leftover at the end of the day will be donated to local non-profit organizations.
Young professionals in the Springfield area are encouraged to sign up for one of the available volunteer shifts if they are interested in getting involved with this event.
There is no cost to attend the event. The Clothing Drive is open to all. For additional information, go to www.gscc.org/rise.
