Springfield Park District Celebrates 125 Years - Special Event Tomorrow

SPRINGFIELD PARK DISTRICT CELEBRATES 125 YEARS OF ENRICHING LIVES

[Springfield, IL] – Tomorrow marks a historic milestone as the Springfield Park District celebrates 125 years of enriching lives through parks, people, and possibilities. Established on February 8, 1900, the Park District has been a cornerstone of the community, providing residents and visitors with beautiful parks, recreational activities, and opportunities for outdoor enjoyment.

In honor of this momentous occasion, the Springfield Park District is inviting the community to celebrate with a special $1.25 Public Ice Skate Session at the Nelson Center Ice Rink.
