Willis earns project management certification

Austin Willis, GISP, PMP, a geospatial project manager at Hanson Professional Services Inc., recently received the project management professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute.

Willis, who joined the firm earlier this year and works from the St. Louis area, manages and supports geospatial projects, integrating geospatial solutions that enhance efficiency, foster innovation and strategically posture Hanson’s clients for success. He received associate degrees in sociology from Gainesville State College and in intelligence operations support from Cochise College, a bachelor’s degree in sociology from the University of Georgia and a master’s degree in theological studies from Liberty University. He is a certified geographic information systems professional.

The Project Management Institute, a not-for-profit professional membership association, offers the PMP credential that recognizes demonstrated competence in leading and directing project teams.
