Springfield, Illinois - The City of Springfield’s Office of Public Works, in cooperation with Lake Area Disposal, announce a slight change in the Yard Waste/Leaf Pickup Program. Starting the week of September 1, 2024, Lake Area Disposal will take over the bi-weekly Yard Waste/Leaf Pickup program. The current schedule will remain the same.
