Contemporary Ceramics Shown in Springfield
Since 2014 the Springfield Art Association has held a national juried show featuring the best in contemporary ceramics. This biennial exhibition (with a minor hiccup during COVID) explores contemporary ceramics, from functional vessels to extraordinary sculpture, and everything in between. We have fifty-two works by forty-one different artists from across the United States on display. The exhibition is now open and will run through April 26th. The reception and awards ceremony will be Friday, April 11th
UIS Visual Arts Gallery presents “Between Horizons” by ceramicist Ellen Kleckner
SPRINGFIELD – The University of Illinois Springfield Visual Arts Gallery is pleased to announce, “Between Horizons,” a solo exhibition by ceramicist Ellen Kleckner. The exhibition, featuring ceramics and craft-based media, opened March 17 and runs through April 10. A closing reception will take place from 5:30 to 8 p.m. on April 10 at the UIS Visual Arts Gallery.
