CITY OF SPRINGFIELD TO RESUME DISPLAYING PUBLIC SPEAKERS DURING CITY COUNCIL MEETINGS
SPRINGFIELD, IL—Beginning Tuesday, October 29, 2024, the City of Springfield will resume showing individuals during the public comment section of City Council and Committee meetings. This decision follows a temporary change in displaying audience members to address concerns regarding the unauthorized recording and sharing of meeting content.
