Applications Open for the Regional Arts Partner Grant (RAP) FY25

The Springfield Area Arts Council (SAAC) is excited to announce that applications are now open for the FY25 Regional Arts Partner Grant (RAP). Previously known as Community Arts Access, this regranting program provides project-based funding to community organizations in Sangamon and Menard counties.  
 
RAP grants aim to increase access to the arts, especially for underserved populations, while fostering meaningful partnerships with local businesses, organizations, and individuals. This year, grants will support special projects, programs, events, and opportunities taking place between April 1, 2025, and August 31, 2025. Eligible organizations may apply for funding up to $2,000. Applications are due by March 1, 2025, at 11:59 PM CT. Grant writing workshops will be offered February 4 and 5, 2025, at 12:00 PM CT to assist applicants.
 
Organizations of all types are encouraged to apply. All applications must include a public presentation or community service component to ensure broad access to the funded work. First-time applicants must contact SAAC staff before submission to discuss their project and confirm eligibility, unless they have been awarded a grant from IAC previously.  
 
The Regional Arts Partner Grant is funded by the Illinois Arts Council with matching funds from SAAC. Past recipients have used these grants to bring art exhibitions, theatre productions, music concerts, art fairs, and more to life, enriching the cultural fabric of our community.
