The Springfield Area Arts Council invites the community to put their art knowledge to the test at its 3rd Annual Trivia Night on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at Pole Barn Chic, located at 4491 Old Chatham Rd, Springfield, IL 62711. Doors open at 5:00 PM, and trivia kicks off at 6:00 PM. This event serves as a fundraiser, supporting the free programs and services the Arts Council provides to the community.

The night will feature ten exciting rounds of general trivia, a silent auction with unique items and experiences donated by local businesses and artists, and plenty of opportunities to support the arts in our region.

“We’re thrilled to bring our annual trivia night back for a third year,” said Bella Szabo, Executive Director of the Springfield Area Arts Council. “It’s a fun, relaxed way for the community to support the arts while enjoying a night out with friends. All proceeds go directly toward programs that make Springfield a more vibrant, creative place to live.”

Funds raised from the event help sustain the Arts Council’s beloved programming, including First Night Springfield, Levitt AMP Springfield Music Series, and a variety of grant programs that support schools, community organizations, and local artists.

Tickets are on sale now, with tables seating up to 10 participants. Arts Council members receive free tickets as part of their annual membership benefits. More details, including sponsorship opportunities and auction previews, can be found online.

Businesses and individuals interested in sponsoring the event or donating to the silent auction are encouraged to reach out.
