City of Springfield Public Works Department to Host Voucher-Only Household Hazardous Waste Collection Event

The City of Springfield Public Works Department, in collaboration with the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency (IEPA), will host a voucher-only residential Household Hazardous Waste Collection event on Saturday, October 17, from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Chamberlain Park, 319 McCreery Ave.   Because the event is being held in partnership with the IEPA, it is open to all Illinois residents. Residents must obtain a voucher from the City of Springfield’s Office of Public Works prior to participating.
