Position Overview
The Illinois Department of Children and Family Services is seeking an organized, professional, and energetic individual to serve as Licensing Compliance Associate. Under direction, this position will prepare a variety of complex materials and will receive and review incoming foster home applications. The position will also independently process foster home, day care, and other licensing applications, making recommendations subject to agency policies and procedures and utilizing knowledge and familiarity with all applicable statutes, standards, and procedures. This position provides a great opportunity for someone who is detail oriented and interested in playing a supporting role in the Department’s operations. Essential Functions
- Serves as Licensing Compliance Associate
- Receives and reviews incoming foster home applications
- Establishes and maintains files for the unit
- Provides clerical support to the supervisor and the unit
- Maintains inventory and orders supplies for the office
- Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above
Minimum Qualifications
- Requires knowledge, skill, and mental development equivalent to completion of high school
- Requires 2 years of office experience
- Requires ability to keyboard accurately at 45 wpm
